Cajuel’s line of more traditional fine jewelry is Timeless. This is where we started. Pierre became enamored with colored gemstones as a small child. The Gem Room of the Los Angeles Natural History Museum remains one of his favorite places in the whole wide world. Pierre's first ring was a nickel silver band made in junior high school metal shop. He still has it.
In the first decade of our new millennium, Pierre commissioned a local jeweler to make a big heavy platinum ring, with a black sapphire cabochon in diamond halo, to match his diamond watch. Next came a pink sapphire pinky ring, then.....
Now we make colored stone jewelry professionally. Back then, we were only using small melee diamonds to accent more interesting colored gems in traditional fine jewelry. We have grown into using a lot more diamonds, but color is still where our heart lies. It seemed the easiest entry into traditional fine jewelry. We saw colored stone jewelry to be under represented in the traditional fine jewelry marketplace and a better value than most diamond jewelry. For anyone who doesn’t already know, many gemstone varieties are more rare than diamonds. We acknowledge that the sparkle of diamonds is unequaled and you can see that we love them too. But frankly, we find them relatively boring. Our first love is exotic gemstones. Cajuel is about color. Fine colored stone jewelry is often referred to as cocktail jewelry, especially rings.
Such centerpieces called for beautiful framework to hold them. So we joined the herd with unique, but not unusual colored stone jewelry. We started with traditional colored stone jewelry. One of a kind traditional fine jewelry pieces made the old school way in California. Not just the best anniversary jewelry, it's good old fashioned cocktail jewelry, great for any gift giving or special occasion.
Some of our traditional fine jewelry is made to match, a lot of others just happen to find each other. We have a gorgeous gold emerald ring and gold emerald pendant intended as a set and a spectacular natural blue topaz pendant which pairs superbly with an equally stunning natural blue topaz white gold ring. You'll find a lot of complementary pieces among our assortment of Timeless traditional fine jewelry.
We present fine specimens of exotic gems accented with high grade diamonds set in high purity gold. Our first class traditional colored stone jewelry is a great made in America value. Our liberal return policy guarantees that you will be happy!
